Hi everyone! I don't know how many people will read this blog. But I guess while I'm here I'll post things useful and/or relevant to IT people. So, to start off, I recently came across a universal video driver. If only they had this back when I really needed it! Oh well. I've already used it in VirtualBox with success and will probably use it again.
These should work with most VESA compliant video cards.
Windows NT family (includes 2000, XP, etc.)
Windows 9x family (includes ME)
I hope this helps you.
VirtualBox
Made a brand new post on that very topic. Enjoy!
That would have saved...
That would have saved me a ton of time back in the day. If only they (video card manufacturers/microsoft) would move to something like this for general performance, i.e. non-gaming, video cards on the xp/vista platforms that would be a huge step forward.
What were you referring to here, "...used it in VirtualBox..."
Does that have to do with VirtualPC? I've only used VMWare so far in regards to virtualization technology.
