I just wanted to talk about a couple of my favorite sites. Feel free to contribute to the list!

Tech News:
Gizmodo - This is a tech blog that mostly covers gadgets and other fun things. From cell phones to Macbooks, it's all here. Sometimes it's good for a laugh as well.
Slashdot - I think most people here are familiar with Slashdot. If not, here it is! Instead of news about gadgets, Slashdot likes to cover science and tech in general.
Hack a Day - This is pretty much a gadget blog, but the key difference from Gizmodo is that at Hack a Day, people make their own gadgets. It's a really cool thing to come back every couple of days and look at people's DIY projects. Some are built from scratch and some are commercial products that have been reverse engineered or modified.

Humor:
The Daily WTF - This site is a collection of stories about people making either very dumb or very BIG mistakes out in the IT world. Definitely worth a read!
Pure Pwnage - Online "TV show" that revolves around this guy named Jeremy who is a pro-gamer and likes to pwn n00bs. There are other characters that are addicted to different types of games. A new episode comes out every couple of months, and it just keeps getting better.
XKCD - Great online comic strip that appeals to techies. Simple art, but really funny jokes.
