Hello everyone,

Now that the new semester is gearing up, Temple ACM is too! We have a new signup procedure encouraging national membership as well as ours. National membership is a great deal since you get all sorts of professional resources, MSDN AA, access to online books, publications, and even more! Even after leaving Temple, you can always stay in touch with ACM!

Not to be outdone, our local chapter has renovated our office. We now have networked workstations along with places to plug in laptops. We also are donating CPU time to Folding@Home as part of our continued commitment to community service. There's an increased presence in the office too. You can stop by if you have any questions about our organization, if you need help with homework, or if you're just bored and want to hang out with people who share your interests!

We will also have guest speakers from companies and hopefully some other folks who are prominent in our industry. We will also hold social events for our members so you can have some fun after a day of schoolwork. If you would like to volunteer to speak or have ideas for events, by all means contact me!
