Welcome to the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) at Temple University web site! Whether your major is in computing, accounting, chemistry, or languages, there is something for everyone within ACM!
ACM is a student organization that promotes the academic, professional, and social development of any student who is interested in computing. Would you like to know about professional opportunities in Information Technology (IT)? Would you like to learn a trick or two about a specific technology? Would you like to meet other students who are interested in technology? If the answer is "yes", then ACM is the place for you!
Although most of our members are IT majors, we encourage you to join our network regardless of your major. After all, we all deal with technology, don't we? In addition, it proves on your resume that you are interested in technology, which can only make you look more marketable, if you are not an IT major.
This year, ACM will be closer to its members. I will try my best to offer our members plenty of opportunities to get involved and to take advantage of what ACM has to offer.
ACM is your organization. So get connected with us now!
Sincerely,
Rebecca Mackin
